Located just off the hiking trail at Rickwood Caverns State Park, this geocache was placed with permission and should help you look closely at some of the Park's interesting karst terrain. The park is open 8:00 am to dusk and charges $1 for entrance. http://www.alapark.com/RickwoodCaverns/
The name?

What Waits Below is the name of a "B" movie released in 1984. Here is a summary of the plot line: The U.S. government has been using deep caves in Central America as bases for a special type of radio transmitter used for communicating with submaries. When the signal from one of these transmitters suddenly disappears, a team of soldiers and cave specialists is sent in to find out what happened. After some exploring deep underground, they stumble upon a tribe of albino cave dwellers who have been isolated from the rest of the world for thousands of years.

So while you are looking for the cache, please be careful; be very, very careful! What waits below for you is a small soupbowl container about the size of a softball!

Rock hopping is right! LOTS of rocks. Traded my new found squishy face for the bouncy baseball and signed the log. Thanks.

Mr BC3 (with directions from Mrs BC3) saw this one first after we rock-hopped a bee line from the parking lot. Thanks for replacing it. TNLN.
