Located just off the hiking trail at Rickwood Caverns State Park, this geocache was placed with permission and should help you look closely at some of the Park's interesting karst terrain. The park is open 8:00 am to dusk and charges $1 for entrance. http://www.alapark.com/RickwoodCaverns/

The name?

What Waits Below is the name of a "B" movie released in 1984. Here is a summary of the plot line: The U.S. government has been using deep caves in Central America as bases for a special type of radio transmitter used for communicating with submaries. When the signal from one of these transmitters suddenly disappears, a team of soldiers and cave specialists is sent in to find out what happened. After some exploring deep underground, they stumble upon a tribe of albino cave dwellers who have been isolated from the rest of the world for thousands of years.

So while you are looking for the cache, please be careful; be very, very careful! What waits below for you is an Ammo Can!

Dang, the one cache I really wanted to find today...either the cache has been muggled (the only thing I found was a broken ink pen), or I just didn't look in the right place. I didn't have a flashlight, so the cache could have been tucked back in a place I couldn't see well enough into. I'll definitely be making another attempt at this one in the near future along with the other caches along the trail I didn't make it to today.

Noah was on a roll telling Rickie where to go today. Did I mention Rickie really does not like caves? Thanks.

Man was it nice down next to the cache today. Hated to crawl out and get back in the sun! Saw a really long, skinny salamander that had a thin tapered tail. As soon as I get a copy of the picture we took of it from the Queen I'll post it to this log. Little guy was pretty much unaffected by our picture taking and seemed to be in no big hurry.
Picked up a rubber duck and a multi-tool card. Left a stress ball, antenna topper, fishing line clipper and a couple of other small things.

Thanks for the cache!
