Tons of folks descend on the neighboring camp each Labor Day
weekend for Family Camp. I'm not sure how many geocachers are among
the nearly one thousand or so that come each year, and I'm curious
to see how many log the cache. IF YOU WERE
HERE FOR FAMILY CAMP, PLEASE INDICATE SO IN YOUR LOG!
THANKS. Winema beach is usually quieter than many of the
nearby beaches such as those at Neskowin and Pacific City.
Limited parking is available at the end of the road. Parking on
camp property is not available to the general public.
If you're in the area Labor Day weekend on Sunday evening around
9PM, I'm usually shooting a fireworks show on the beach near this
location, so come on down! Visibility should be good from the
overlook on highway 101 as well weather permitting.
