The ability of solving puzzle caches is something that SmittyFletch struggles with frequently. We view a puzzle, try out a few ideas (if we have any at all) and see if we can solve it. There are a few tricks that we have learned throughout our time caching but when we run out of ideas the puzzle goes unsolved. Four example, Psychic Friends Network - 0ut of Body Experience was a puzzle that we stayed away from for a long time. We had no idea how to approach this one. We actually came to the point where we found every cache in Holmdel Park except this one. At an event we were told a few generous hints on how to solve this puzzle and when we actually made the find we looked at each other and said " Yeah, we would have never figured this out." We were grateful to finally have a smiley for this cache. On the other hand, the puzzle cache Dental Exam was our 26th cache that we have found. After looking at this puzzle and knowing it was simple enough for us to solve we completed the puzzle after a little work and found the cache. The most difficult puzzle that we have looked at thus far is PMC SETI. This puzzle cache has completely stumped us. Even once when we THOUGHT we were on to something, turns out we were on the wrong track. Just like you might be now ;) This puzzle cache is a unique puzzle. I have only seen a few caches that are so easy, they become difficult. Do not over think this puzzle! GOOD LUCK!
