Located in Whittingham WMA. Wear orange in hunting season. Sundays may be best as no hunting is allowed.
Park at N41 00.727; W074 48.966 (if you have a dog that swims, bring it as the area here is designed just for that). Head NE from the parking lot around the lake and into the Whittingham WMA.
The general area where the cache is placed is very dynamic as there are a number of steep climbs and dramatic decents. You feel far away from the northeast while hiking here, in fact you feel far away from civilization, when in fact you are not. It is very exciting terrain.
The cache is a small, slim ammo can and is well hidden. As the name implies, you are cliffside so take your time and watch your step. It is located deep into the woods so prepare for a good hike with lots of ups and downs.

IMPORTANT NOTES. Again, please pay attention to the ratings, this potentially involves some steep climbs and trecherous decents. A lot of loose rocks and branches require constant attention. Likely not a suitable hike for children or those with bad knees (like me). Also be aware that Sussex County New Jersey has many bears and poisonous snakes. Be alert! If you know what to do if you have an encounter, you will enjoy exploring one of the greatest natural resources in Northwest New Jersey.
