Deutsch/Er wurde nahe dem Wasser beim Hafen platziert.Er ist zu Fuß auf geflasterten Wegen zu erreichen, das Auto kann am Parkplatz geparkt werden, die erste Stunde ist gratis.

English / He was placed near the water in the harbor. It is within walking distance to paved roads, the car can be parked at the parking area , the first hour is free.

Dieser Cache wurde der Titanic gewidmet, da im Jahr 2012 der 100ste Jahrestag des Untergangs der Titanic war. Dies ist ein symbolischer Cache und wurde nahe dem Wasser platziert.Ich möchte noch hervorheben, dass mir Bunny92 und Pigis beim Suchen des Verstecks des Caches sehr geholfen haben!!
Hier sind ein paar Fakten: Deutsch/
Die Titanic war ein Passagierschiff der britischen White Star Line. Sie wurde in Belfast auf der Werft von Harland & Wolff gebaut und war bei seinerzeit das größte Schiff der Welt.
Auf ihrer Jungfernfahrt kollidierte die Titanic am 14. April 1912 gegen 23:40 Uhr etwa 300 Seemeilen südöstlich von Neufundland seitlich mit einem Eisberg und versank zwei Stunden und 40 Minuten nach dem Zusammenstoß im Nordatlantik. Obwohl für die Evakuierung mehr als zwei Stunden Zeit zur Verfügung standen, starben zwischen 1490 und 1517 der über 2200 an Bord befindlichen Personen – hauptsächlich wegen der unzureichenden Zahl an Rettungsbooten.
Folge des Untergangs waren zahlreiche Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung der Sicherheit auf See. Diese umfassten die ausreichende Ausstattung mit Rettungsbooten, Besetzung der Funkstationen rund um die Uhr, Errichtung der Internationalen Eispatrouille sowie den Abschluss des ersten Internationalen Übereinkommens zum Schutze des menschlichen Lebens auf See.
Die Titanic gehört aufgrund der Umstände, die mit ihr und ihrem Untergang verbunden werden, zu den bekanntesten Schiffen der Geschichte.

This cache had been dedicated to the Titanic, because in the year 2012 it was the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. This is a symbolic cache, and was placed near the water. I would like to emphasize that Bunny92 and Pigis really helped me to find the hiding place of the cache !
Here are some facts: English/
The Titanic was a passenger ship of the British White Star Line. It was built in Belfast in the shipyard of Harland & Wolff and was at that time the largest ship in the world.
On her maiden voyage, the Titanic collided on 14 April 1912 to 23:40 clock about 300 nautical miles southeast of Newfoundland with the side of an iceberg and sank two hours and 40 minutes after the collision in the North Atlantic. Although for the evacuation more than two hours of time were available, 1490-1517 of over 2200 persons on board died - mainly because of the insufficient number of lifeboats.
Result of the decline were a number of measures to improve safety at sea. These included the facilities with sufficient lifeboats occupation of radio stations around the clock, setting up the International Ice-patrolling and the completion of the first International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea.
The Titanic is due to the circumstances connected with her and her demise are linked to the most famous ships in history.
