Next to the Pittsburgh Zoo is the City of
Pittsburgh's Highland Park. KidScience is an educational
program developed for middle school students interested in
animal behavior research. GPS has become instrumental to
modern day tracking of animals. In particular, those with
large home ranges.
This cache is a large plastic Mr. Peanut cannister and is hidden
close to the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium. It was placed by
KidScience students but is now maintained by Team VaxCave. It is
within easy reach of many public roads- though it is very well
hidden due to high public exposure. KidScience One, KidScience
Three, and KidScience Four are all within 0.4 miles of this cache.
Look for them as well.
NOTE: Please be careful when searching for this
cache. The location can be seen from a road and the pedestrian
traffic is high. Please be sure to hide the container EXACTLY as
you found it. The last container was plundered and we'd like to
keep this one around for awhile.
