The cordinates above are for the trail head only.
Unlike my original "X Marks The Spot" cache set on Treasure
Island in the Caribbean, this one offers no tropical islands or
deep blue sea. But like any good treasur hunt, this one can be
found by marking an "X" on the map.
You will have to draw a line between caches GCV2BB (now archived)
and GCVJ19 and then another line between GCP3B5 and GCJBDA. The
cache is located where the lines intersect.
There are several ways to do this: You can use coordinate
geometry to calculate the exact coordinates. You can use mapping
software or a topo map to draw the lines. Or you can use your
"Route" command on your GPS in the field to draw the lines.
With the exception of the coordinate geometry method, the other two
methods will only get you close, so the cache has deliberately been
made "easy" to spot at a distance.
