Yarrr, it's been 4 years now and Capt. Bill's golf game
continues to horrify golfers and delight fans of slapstick. If this
sounds like a fun time, join us at this year's 4th Annual Pirate
Open!
This year event will be held at Pietro's Pizza in beautiful
Salem, OR starting at noon on Sunday, July 11th. Pietro's
serves a tasty pizza, has laser tag and an awesome Pirate Mini-Golf
Course, yarrr!
No
golfing is required to log this event. Everyone is welcome to sail
by Pietro's Pizza, meet your fellow geocachers and swap "tales of
the trail".
If you want to attend the golfing portion of this event, it is
being held at Auburn Center Golf Club. This is a nine hole,
executive length course. There is a miniature golf course available
for the wee cachers in your party. This course is a favorite of the
entire SalemPirates crew.
There is no need for reserved tee times, the friendly staff at
Auburn Center Golf Club will get the golfers on their way quickly.
The SalemPirate crew plans to be there at 9:00 AM to meet the
golfers and begin their own round.
Our crew is amassing a treasure chest filled with plunder to
give away during the course of this event. Come win rare,
one-of-a-kind treasures and trinkets, some never before seen in
these waters, yarrrr!
Be sure follow the
adventures of the SalemPirates on Twitter for the latest news about
this event, matey!
