Civilization is just down the hill.
After hiking deep into the Weldon Brook WMA, it is reassuring to know you are not alone. Just beyond this spot is the WMA border and the edge of civilization.
If you stay on trail, you can follow it out all the way to the cache location avoiding swamps, boulders and significant climbs. But it is still a decent hike. The cache is small - holding only a small note pad and a pencil. It can accommodate very small items but not much else. Look carefully.
As mentioned, this is a wildlife management area so in season it is legitimate hunting grounds Monday through Saturday (wear orange). On Sunday, no hunting is allowed and it is safest to hike. The area is rugged terrain so prepare accordingly.
