A dual activity event at the community woodland in Horncastle. There will be traditional egg hunting, 'Hop Little Bunnies', (with GPS) for teams with children and other chocolate lovers and a short GPS time trial 'Hop To It', for the more competitive at heart or just for those who want to do something a bit different.
The event begins at 11 am on Good Friday, so get a nice bit of fresh air to start the Easter weekend. There is parking available at the site. There will be opportunities to swap bugs and coins, have a chat and a hot cross bun a there's prize for the time trial winners. Extra clues for the illusive cache 'Mary-Jo-Lisa' will be available around the course.
Please let us know how many people you will have with you if you are egg hunting and don't forget to bring a basket.
If you want to take part in the time trial please let us know how many slots you will be needing and keep a watch on the page as your starting time will be posted here on the previous day.
Horncastle is full of delightful hostelries to retire to after this event for those cachers who want to make a day of it, and there are plenty of easy caches in the immediate vicinity.
