Located at the Twin Ponds parking area for the beach and/or the Superior Hiking Trail. Not too far into the woods on this one, and up a tiny hill. Should be kid friendly!
During the summer, Twin Ponds is a popular spot for kids to swim in one half, and kids to fish in the other half off the floating dock. It's a dual purpose area. The parking area is for the Superior Hiking Trail, which is a mere 400' away, as well as the beach. Because of the potential for high traffic in the summer, watch out for muggles!
Park in the provided lot.
This cache is a tall screw-on lid Ziploc container, painted to fit the surroundings. Original contents included a logbook, penguin button, Travel Bug, and "Ipod" sticky notes.
Hide as well or better than when you found it, and bring a baggie to CITO in the parking lot; there always seems to be trash around here, even though there are garbage cans available.
