Parking is available at the woods road that leads off Edison Rd. Follow the road into and along the pond to gz. For a second approach you can park at the monument parking lot at the Edison works and take the woods road across the street by the open mine to get to the pond, keeping right at the split and a steel gate if it is still there.
This cache site is situated around the foundation remains of an old homestead or summer cabin. Look around a obvious hiding location and if you can't find it, look again at a different angle. Container is a 2x6 copper tube and needs to be replaced well as not to reveal its location. There are hikers, hunters and local kids camping in the area. "Great area cache for mountain bikes."
