The willow bridge geisha becomes a place where the ship hotel of the ship play guest in Sumidagawa represents a lot of Tokyo with Shinbashi as a flower street in those days, and is said that it is assumed to be a boast to stand in the song and the dance unlike the prostitute, and pride was high.

The origin of the name

There are various opinions, and the truth theory is uncertain.

A present bridge was completed as an earthquake reconstruction effort in 1929(1929) because it became a steel bridge in 1887(1887), and it was burnt down in Great Kanto Earthquake afterwards. It is said that the design of Eitaibashi was taken. It registers as a Chuo Ward inhabitants of a ward material cultural asset in 1999.

The houseboat also moors in surroundings. In the mark in which it looked for cash, isn't it an amusement to take the houseboat while recalling at that time?
