Geocache Description:

"The Weeping Beech" was a popular bar in the 80's and 90's. Spent a few nights and early mornings there in my youth! Alas, it no longer exists. Douglaston is a very nice neighborhood. The caching series in this neighborhood is a great walk all year round. Great Views! This is a paid parking lot. There may be parking on the street. Park here if you want Italian or ex-Mets player food! *PLEASE PARK ON THE SIDE STREET. IT IS SAFER!*

The last stop (or first, if you took the train) here on the Douglaston Trail. Hopefully you enjoyed the neighborhood walk; the scenic views and the beautiful homes. Park on the side streets, if you drive. After a couple of hours caching, have a snack and a beer -only one, if you are driving ;) Have a safe trip home! This is a park n' grab. Cache is a magnetic key holder. BYOP.
