An event meet in Sunny(????) Porthcawl.
We always enjoy meeting up and catching up to date with cachers and all the caching gossip and news.
So we decided to hold an informal get-together.
Where - The Hi-Tide Porthcawl
When - Sunday 5th October 2008
We'll be there at 12noon until ???????
We have arranged to have a room/area in the Hi-Tide and food is available to purchase, with a variety of meals available in one room and cooked Sunday lunch in another(sounds complicated but that is the way they organise their bar food).
They have asked for an idea of how many will be eating and we have said we will let them know by Friday 3rd October so if you are planning on eating please let us know.
Reality Minus 3 has kindly volunteered to organise the TB/geocoins table.
A reminder to give to Elizabeth (Reality Minus 3) the Travel Bugs and Geocoins that want to travel onwards. Please bring along a note of each item's mission to expedite the process. Thanks!
UPDATE!!!!!!!
Went tonight to say approximately 50/60 will be attending with 30/35 eating!!!
They serve Sunday lunch between 12 and 2.00pm so would plan for earlier rather than later but up to you!!!
The Harbour Lights Menu served from 12 - 9pm includes sandwiches, jacket potato, steak, chicken, fish and chips, curry, scampi, mixed grill, vegetarian and more!!!
Children's Meals - chicken nuggets , beefburger, pizza, sausages at £3.95
Also desserts !!!!!!
Plan on setting some caches Friday/Sat ready for the day!!!
