We have an ongoing serious security matter with which we believe you can help us. Recently, a known terror suspect (we'll refer to him by his code name, "Kaboom") was seen carrying a suspicious-looking package. Our agent lost him, however, and an hour later, when he was re-acquired, the package was gone.
We have reason to believe that the small package (approximately the size of a pack of cigarettes) contains a highly-sophisticated burst transmitter.
Our listening post in San Jose was able to intercept a transmission that we believe originated from the concealed transmitter. Unfortunately, the transmission was so short that we were unable to achieve a good position fix; all we have is the approximate position shown above and a recording of the transmission content itself.
It has come to our attention that Bay Area geocachers are renowned for their ability to solve difficult puzzles. We believe that the position of the package can be obtained from the information we have. We would be most grateful if you would solve this problem for us, find the package, and disable any transmitter or receiver contained therein.
It is of vital importance that the terror suspect "Kaboom" be apprehended and neutralized as quickly as possible. We need the help of all good citizens, especially those with unique talents such as yours.
