This cache is placed in honor of two caching buddies, both named Ali, one in Florida and one in Connecticut. The Florida Ali we pushed up a tree to get a high cache while we groundlings hollered "Ali Oop!" and "we promise not to tell Lou what we made you do." The CT Ali is just plain full of Kazam!! in everything she does. Kazam helped me place this one by kayak after we had paddled on a lovely September afternoon, stopped for lunch on a beach, swam in the salt water for the last time this season, and looked in vain for a neighboring kayak cache. The cache itself is a traditional ammo box (well, a plastic one) which Ali Oop won last spring as a door prize at a big Florida Geo Event. I conned it out of her so I could place it up north. It is accessible only by water and the landing place may vary. We landed at the little beach near all the trees that came in with Sandy. Watch out for prickers. I could have cut them, but they will only grow back. The cache isn't hard, but contemplating your landing and path will be the job. That job has to be easier than what we had to place the cache in our beach attire. Enjoy this lovely spot.
