To get to the cache, take the Oriflamme Canyon
turnoff on the West side of S2 at N 33 00.456 W 116 27.378. Head up the
canyon until you get to the parking coordinates at N 33 00.788 W 116 28.042.
There is a short hike to the cache from the parking coordinates. There is
no established trail, so choose your path carefully, watching for snakes.
The cache is in a large ammo box filled to the
brim with lots of goodies. If you plan on trading, please bring some good
swag to trade. If you have some time and a 4WD vehicle, you can keep going
up the canyon, eventually climbing up and over to Route 78 near the store on
Banner Grade.
