The cache is a magnetic micro – BRING YOUR OWN PEN and take care in retrieving and replacing the cache.

From mid August to late November you can often see whitebaiters around here.

"The river bends in the lower Avon River have seen several centuries of fisherfolk, from the Waitaha, to the first known European settler to fish here for a living… Today modern whitebaiters try their luck on the river but they are unlikley to match the days when a kerosene tin was plunged into the river, and hauled out full!"
