[BT] Villa Manfrin

ITALIANO

Un tempo chiamata Villa Margherita dal nome della proprietaria inglese Margherita Lichtenberg.Villa costruita tra il 1775 ed il 1783 dall'architetto G. Antonio Selva. L'edificio principale a tre piani con frontone centrale. All'interno vi sono alcune stanze decorate con stucchi. Le ampie barchesse, disposte perpendicolarmente alla facciata posteriore, inquadrano una bella peschiera e conservano alcune interessanti formelle in cotto. Il grande parco e' aperto al pubblico, mentre la villa ora è sede di un comando militare. Erano stati posti dei pannelli decorativi in ceramica, rappresentanti santi e guerrieri che alla fine degli anni '30 furono rimossi. Di questi pannelli ne rimane uno solo intatto, quello che rappresenta un guerriero, presentato e premiato alla Mostra di Bruxelles nel 1910.

Once called Villa Margherita by the name of the owner English Margherita Lichtenberg.Villa built between 1775 and 1783 by architect G. Antonio Selva. The main building of three floors with a central gable. Inside there are some rooms decorated with stucco. The large barns, arranged perpendicular to the rear façade, framing a beautiful fish pond and preserve some interesting terracotta tiles. The large park and 'open to the public, while the villa now houses a military command. They were places of decorative panels in ceramic, representing saints and warriors in the late 30's were removed. These panels one remains only intact, what is a warrior, presented and awarded at the Exhibition of Brussels in 1910.
