Geocache Description:

This is a prime example of Mother Nature's recovery effort in the preserve.

This is our 6th and last cache on the clockwise loop around the preserve. We placed this one here because this Oak tree represents all of the others on the path to recovery. The bark is black and the new leaves are green! It has been trimmed and one of the big branches has been made into a seat for you to sit on and sign the log.
Please be sure to cover it back up after you find it.
Bring something to write with.
Park hours: M-F 7:30 - 5:00 Sat. & Sun. 7:30 - 6:00
They close the gate on time, so be aware.
Stay on the trail for this one, don't cut across.
