There’s no palace here, but this is definitely a royal gem! Bald eagles are known to frequent the area. If the tide is out the kids can enjoy walking along the sandy shoreline (wear old sneaks or water shoes - there are a lot of fishing hooks around.) Beware the fishing muggles who launch their boats early morning and return in late afternoon. Easy in and out for canoes and kayaks, so enjoy a day on the water after you’ve located the cache!
