LaughingTerry: Checking on caches today with Tandemstoker. We got here and fount the lion on the ground in pieces. Someone pried it off the dead tree and broke it in the process. Since it was broken they left it lay. We hauled the pieces out and I may try to fix it and put it somewhere else. Things like this make me sad.

Geocache Description:

This cache is in the Philbrick Trails. You will find parking and the trailhead by the water treatment facility at the end of Joyce Street. N44 46.157 W069 42.559

Most people know I hate micros in the woods. So why would I place one? Well, I did. To make it easy to find I painted it red. I have had this kicking around in my head and then in my living room all winter waiting to get it out somewhere.

Walk in on the trails and follow along the top of the ridge overlooking the river. I guess you could canoe or kayak pretty close but then you would have one heck of a climb to get up to it.
