This cache was designed to introduce cachers to the beautiful Morgan Lake park, above La Grande.Approach via C Avenue, turn on to Walnut Street, and then just follow your GPS arrow. It is a steep road to the park, but passable by all vehicles, unless icy! Enjoy the lake, maybe try the trout fishing, or a paddle. We don't know of any snakes in the area, but always be aware of the possibility.
The cache is a 10 inch long Rubbermaid container, well out of view. It should stay dry, whatever the weather. Original contents:Log book with pen and stash note; silver Hotwheels car; can opener; 2 Happy Face balloons; 4 jacks with a ball; bowling ball marble with 4 bowling pins; Happy Face button; wooden burl keychain; "Elect Anderson" pin; mini clothes pin; hair band; and the Golden Dolphin Coastal Quest Travel Bug.
