Upper Landing Park
Located on Shepard Road and Chestnut, this newly renovated park
offers an intimate river setting for visitors looking to get away
from the busy city situated on the bluffs above. The park features
numerous seating areas along the Mississippi River, a public plaza
for gatherings and a connection to the Mississippi River Trail. At
the center of these renovations is the St. Paul
City House (St. Paul Municipal Grain Terminal), which has been
restored and converted into an interpretive center and event
venue.
Activities: A bicycle/walking trail extends
along the entire length of the park. The park also has seating
areas and a plaza for gathering. The St. Paul City House offers
interpretive signage with an event area that can accommodate 275
guests.
Hours: The park is open from dawn to dusk
unless otherwise posted.
