The stages are on a circular walk of 4 miles around Tatton Mere. The first stage is tupperware, the cache itself is an ammo can.
When you find the cache itself, in order to make the walk circular, continue walking along the path and you will leave the park (ignore the bridge over the railway) and carry on until you reach Knutsford town centre. Walk past the play area and up on to King Street. Turn right on to it and carry on until you see the car park across a green area on your left.
Tatton Park is owned by the National Trust but managed by Cheshire County Council. As of January 2020, you can pay £7 to park within Tatton or you can park in Knutsford at the parking coordinates given. 3 hours parking costs £1.80p (free Sunday) and it's a hundred yards to the Park where you can walk or cycle in for free. The Park is open all week from 8am until 7pm for pedestrians from Easter or April 1st (whichever is earlier) until the end of September and from Tuesday to Sunday until 5pm at other times. Park opening times for cars can be found here. All cache stages are within the park and there's lots to do in the park, hall and gardens after you complete the cache.
Thanks go to Brendan Flanagan, Tim Birtles and Phil Lucas of Tatton Park for giving permission for the cache.
If you want to have a day in Tatton Park caching and do Pandemi's The Tattoine Incident afterwards, it is a 1.8 miles walk to the first stage of that cache from the last stage of this one. In total, and parking where I suggest, you will walk 6.5 miles to complete this cache, The Tattoine Incident and return to the car.
