This cache is located a good healthy 1/2 mile hike to a beautiful peak view (meaning you will be hiking uphill), which in turn makes a nice 1 mile hike if you choose the right trails. Start at the trail head near West Branch Area F.
This cache is located within Stony Creek Metropark, a part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority park system. A Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required: Annual Permit $20, Senior Permit $12, Daily Permit $4. For general information please call 810-227-2757 or 1-800-47-PARKS, or visit our website at www.metroparks.com. All park rules and regulations apply. Park in parking lots only. Check the Metroparks website for park hours. Approved Metropark Placement By Tim Phillips, Permit # 509-05-1. This cache is a red plastic container with the official MiGO geocache sticker. This area is a high traffic scenic view, so please use discretion while looking for it and place it back right where you found it so it is fully hidden from all angles. Original Cache Contents Include: Log Book, a few pens, my Sig Cards, 2 youth sized LIVESTRONG Bracelet and 1 Adult size, a couple AA Batteries and a US Military Personal Effects Bag, (great for camping and backpacking items).
