First there were reports of The Big Bear walking along Bear Tavern Road near Washington Crossing State Park. Then he was seen near Bear Creek Bouvelard so I went for a walk today along the Bear Creek pathway in hopes of seeing him today. My guess was right on target and I did see him near the Big Bear Brook.
He has become quite fat having recently gorged himself on animal crackers but he is hungry again. He may be visiting here looking for something sweet to eat. His cavernous, 1 gallon belly now has lots of room and is ready to be fed happy meal toys and, hopefully, some bear related items.
He will soon be looking for a place to hibernate for the winter so look for him while you can. A bear this big should be easy to find but maybe not.
