Geocache Description:

This cache is designed to be very simple. Unlike the original (and nearby) Connecticut River View, this view of the Connecticut River will not be affected by annual spring flooding. It's not a park & grab, but it shouldn't take more than twenty minutes if you're observant. (Let me know if I'm way off on this.) It is handicapped accessible and possibly winter/snow friendly. Muggles will be an issue, so stealth is required.

This area of Glastonbury's Riverfront Park opened in September of 2014. It has a boathouse, basketball courts, children's playgrounds, an ice skating rink, and a pavilion. It is the pavilion that you should head towards. Take a look at the brick walk leading up to it. These bricks and tiles will be your key to the final. Coordinates are N 41 42.ABC  W 072 37.DEF.

A: "A life that touches others goes on forever." Number of letters in the object pictured on this tile minus two.

B:1-1-2005. Number of letters in the kind of kiss this date commemorates. (Note: one word answer.)

C: This one made me laugh, so I had to include it. The number of letters in the name of the establishment that sells what helps "classy people get shnockered".

D: Glastonbury residents love their pets! One brick has a picture of a cat and five names, all presumably pet cats. The first and third lines of this brick look a bit like mathmatical equations. So look at the first line and subtract the number of letters in the second name from the number of letters in the first name.

E: Hans is giving thanks for receiving a new one of these on 7/18/2012. (Number of letters.)

F: The Old Cider Mill is an historic Glastonbury landmark. Find the tile that commemorates it and use the third digit of the date given.

After plugging these numbers into the above coordinates, take the short walk to look for the final. Muggles will almost certainly be nearby, so please be discreet and stealthy while searching and signing, and replace the container exactly (orientation and location) as you found it. If it migrates, it will be noticeable. (Of course, if it has already migrated and was noticeable when you arrived, then by all means, place it back where it will be less noticeable!)

I hope you enjoy this view of the Connecticut River. It isn't quite as scenic or as peaceful as its sister hide, but it's still worth taking a look. And the playgrounds will give your little ones a chance to work off a little energy if they're antsy after a long day of geocaching!
