Our first cache! Since it is our first, we made it short and easy. We will attach a photo with a visual hint, just in case. Cache is a small lock and lock provided by Briansnat.
This is at the Mount Hope Historical Park. We want you to know, however, that the Mount Hope Historical Park isn't actually at Mount Hope Mine (in case you were confused). The center of the Mount Hope mining district is the Ford-Faesch house on Mt. Hope Rd; the old mine is probably bulldozed flat inside the quarry. This park is near several of the main veins of the mine, including Richard's (hence Richard Mine Rd.) and Teabo. We will probably do more caches here as we learn more details about the area.
Our first cache is a Classic Highlands Rock Cache, with one tiny twist. We won't say what it is, because it's probably already too easy.
Note: 4/3/05 - Made a maintenance visit and found that the cache had "migrated" away from its original hide. Moved it back into its original hiding place.
