Middle Road, turning into Locust Street spans 20 miles, beginning in northeast Bettendorf and ending in western Davenport. It is a major thoroughfare for traffic in Scott County. This is a FTF Power Trail, beginning at the start of Middle Road. A "Power Trail" is a series of at least 50 geocaches within close proximity. A "FTF Power Trail" means that if you are the "first to find" (i.e. the 'FTF') of a cache in this series, PLEASE 'pay it forward' by placing the next cache along this trail, and do so within two weeks of getting the FTF. Keep in mind that some areas will have higher muggle traffic than others, so you may have to be creative in your hides, or may have to dive slightly off course to put out a hide.

• Puzzle Instructions
You will need to find two (2) KEY WORDS in order to begin this puzzle. Once you have the two (2) key words you must CONVERT those letters to numbers in the traditional way (A=1, B=2, C=3 etc) THEN those numbers will be assigned a LOWER CASE letter.

• EXAMPLE
Keyword is CAT

Converted would make C=3 A=1 T=20

3 then becomes "a"

1 then becomes "b"

20 then becomes "c"

a+b+c=24

• PUZZLE
"BY THE _ _ _ _ _ OF _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ! "

(a,b,c,d,e) (f,g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n)

• THE FINAL COORDINATES CAN BE FOUND BY SOLVING THE SIMPLE EQUATIONS BELOW

N41° (A).(B)(C) W90° (D).(E)(F)

l+n = A

c+d = B

a/4 = C

b*2-2 = D

e*2+g+m+1 = E

i-j+h-4 = F
