Geocache Description:

In memory of my niece, who died in a car accident July 16, 2004.

This cache is located along the Deer Run Trail, in the Bubolz Nature Preserve. The trail is approximately 2.5 miles round trip, but is level the entire distance. It wanders thru a restored prairie, swampland, and old farmer’s fields.

Stinging Nettle .... is a native plant. And it grows everywhere at Bubolz. along the trails especially! Be on the lookout for it.

All caches within the Bubolz Nature Preserve are accessible by trails. There is no need to bushwack.

During the winter months, caches can be reached by snowshoe or cross country ski.
