In Boot Head Preserve. Very gentle 20 minute walk into this cache.
This cache is a clear plastic jar with a blue cover. From Rt. 1,
follow Rt. 189 5.8 miles to Rt. 191 south toward Cutler. Travel 2.8
miles and turn left on Boot Cove Rd. (unmarked). After one mile you
will see the trailhead on the right. It is a small parking turnout
marked by boulders. From Lubec, take the South Lubec Rd. as though
going to Quoddy Head State Park. When you see the 2 miles to Quoddy
Head State Parkn sign, take the right fork. Go 3.4 miles to the
trailhead. Park in the designated area. The trail is .7 to the
cache and this will take about 20 minutes. When placed the cache

Nice walk in to a beautiful beach! Took awhile to find this one. Took TB, left map compass and signed log. peace out!

Found with no problem. If it wasn't for Geocaching we would never have visited Boot Head. Pretty location.

This was a nice hike, although we took the long way around to the cache, GPS was right on the money and we were able to find cache quickly. TFTH TN/LN. If you have time to go around the long way the views are beautiful.
