Southeast Texas, let's get together!!!! By the time this event comes along we are all about fed up with turkey and ham. RIIIIGGGGHHHT? Let's get down on the bayou with some good old cajun cooking. Good old belly warming, toe curling food.
We will meet at the above cordinates on Saturday January 15th. We start cooking early in the morning and everyone goes home early the next morning, but we will eat around 2:00pm and the leftovers for later.
We are betting there are a few who got new GPS units for Christmas and are wondering how to operate them things or just have a bunch of questions. Well....welcome to Geocaching 2005. Someone here will try to answer all of your questions. Now, mind you, it might not be the right answers, but your questions will get answered.
The ones of you who have been here before know the drill...lawn chairs, a hearty appetite and a LOVE for Geocaching and BS. Those of you who haven't....come let us show you what it is about. You will still need your lawn chairs and appetite though.
We are planning on cooking up lots of gumbo and some other goodies to go with it. If you don't like seafood or are allergic to it, let us know because we can and will most likely be throwing something fowl on the grill or pit anyway.
There will be adult beverages but we don't know what everyone drinks as far as soft drinks so you might want to bring those of your choice. There will also be iced tea and "Hot Chocolate".
