Geocache Description:

This should be a quick park and grab.

The Silver Creek Center for Environmental Studies is a 26-acre facility maintained by the Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District and is open to the public. Scenic woodlands, meadow, and streamlet provide a learning laboratory of ecological study. There are two paved trails as well as paths through the woods. A bridge over wetlands is a great spot for observing the frogs and a shelter house is available. There are no rest room facilities and the park is only open from dawn to dusk so no nighttime caching allowed. Please be respectful of the area and you might even practice ‘cache in, trash out’. It’s the perfect fit! The cache is a medium size container with a screw on lid with small trade items available. Travel bugs are welcome? Enjoy the scenery.
