This is a little unknown park in downtown Mason City. Even some of the locals probably never heard of W Interstate Park.
NKVikesguy and I hid this one as part of an afternoon activity, me (The Northwood Goonies) being a mentor in the Worth Joining Generations Mentoring Program, to NKVikeguy. Everybody should strongly consider becoming a mentor to a child as it is very rewarding to both the mentor and the mentee. Just do a Google search to find out more facts on being a mentor. Okay now back to the cache.
There are steps involved, and is not in the parking lot of the mall, but you are encouraged to park there. This little park is in DIRE NEED of CITO so bring a bag along to help out. There are times when ducks and geese are strolling by in the creek, so you might want to bring some bread crumbs along to feed them.
Other things to do and see are the Music Man Square, and the boyhood home of Merideth Wilson is just a block to the NE.
