Geocache Description:

Decon can just off trail in the Rancho Canada Del Oro Preserve.

Tucked into the western foothills of Santa Clara County, Rancho Canada del Oro Open Space Preserve boasts beautiful oak woodlands, native grassland areas, and spectacular scenic views.

Adjacent to Calero County Park, the preserve hosts two trails: Longwall Canyon Trail (2.7 miles) and Bald Peaks Trail (1.1 miles). Access to the trails is through Calero Park at Calero Ranch Stables or the new Canada Del Oro trailhead off of Casa Loma Road. [see map]

A nice place to take a break from the sun or the rain, depending on the time of year. Shorter cachers will need a boost, but this should be a easy find.

Once the cache is in hand, drop the pack, kick back, and enjoy!
