Geocache Description:

Second in a planned series of alphabetic caches. A pleasant stroll along the beach will be made easier if you time your visit to coincide with low tide.

A view from near the cache This is a simple 3 qt. Rubbermaid container with clear sides and a blue lid. Since this is a fairly well-traveled beach, the cache is hidden beneath some greenery. You won't be able to see it until you're standing directly over its hiding place.

Inside the container you'll find:

  • a Geocache welcome message (laminated)
  • a log book with a pen and pencil
  • a disposable camera
  • a sealed pack of Cinnamon Altoids (always!)
  • two AA batteries (in case your GPS is low on batteries)
  • a NASCAR racing car toy (originally in the Salt Ponds cache)
  • a new box of 24 Crayola crayons
  • a Borg Cube toy
  • a blue yo-yo
  • an orange superball
Take a picture of yourself and post a message with how many pictures are left so I can develop the film and post the pictures on my web site. The first roll of film from this cache has been developed and you can see the photos here.

Also, since the spot is a bit damp, be sure to bring a ziplock bag to hold any goodies you leave.

NOTE FOR PARENTS: There is a "clothing optional" beach off to the north of this cache; you might want to make your approach from the south.

Have fun!
