Geocache Description:

A mag container at an interesting spot.

Tucked into the western foothills of Santa Clara County, Rancho Canada del Oro Open Space Preserve boasts beautiful oak woodlands, native grassland areas, and spectacular scenic views. Adjacent to Calero County Park, the preserve hosts two trails: Longwall Canyon Trail (2.7 miles) and Bald Peaks Trail (1.1 miles). Access to the trails is through Calero Park at Calero Ranch Stables or the new Canada Del Oro trailhead off of Casa Loma Road. [see map]

This cache is located at one of the entry ways of the new open space preserve. Consider this an intro cache to the region. Enjoy!
