**** The cache is NOT at the posted co-ordinates. ****
Quick, easy winter-friendly letterbox. The coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but the trailhead. Parking is available a few metres from the trailhead.

A letterbox, no trade items. Do not trade out the stamp. Leave it in the box. One of the purposes of a letterbox is to collect rubberstamp images instead of trinkets. I hope you'll join in the fun and bring along your personal letterbox passport/journal (some people like to carry index cards then scrapbook them later).

Bring your own ink (any colour) if you plan to stamp your letterbox passport/journal. For more info about LB hybrids see: http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#letterbox

Directions:
From the trailhead walk approximately 70 steps then stop. (You will see the boardwalk up ahead - about 35 steps ahead). The box is 7 steps to your right. In the middle of 3.

Since it is so close to the trail you'll need to keep an eye out for muggles.

I have added an additional waypoint for the final location. I want to make my letterboxes serve both the letterboxing community and the geocaching community. By adding an additional waypoint, geocachers who prefer finding boxes by coords can do so and those that prefer the traditional letterbox method can ignore the additional waypoint.

Winter: may be frozen in.
---------------

A little history about Preservation Park (from www.recycling.org):

Preservation Park opened October 19, 1989. The size of Preservation Park is equivalent to the acreage of trees saved from the amount of newsprint collected in the first year of the Curbside Recycling Program in the City of Guelph. An equivalent acreage of Rain Forest was purchased in the name of the children of the City of Guelph. Handicapped accessible trails where paid for by the proceeds from the sale of recyclable materials from the Recycle Guelph Drop-off Depot.

------- This letterbox is also listed on Atlas Quest "dedicated to providing tools and information for letterboxers from around the world, is one of the largest and fastest growing letterboxing sites on the Internet. From stamp carving tutorials to planning a letterboxing road trip, from Aruba to Zimbabwe, you'll find the information you need here."

Found it this morning. There's deer tracks everywhere in the snow in this area. Thanks.

ThreeR's out for a Christmas Eve caching trip and to take some pictures of the awesome hoar frost that developed throughout a humid winter day. Took the opportunity to find two caches that have been on our list for awhile. Merry Christmas!

132: Down from Owen Sound with Where's Wendy. This one took some fighting to get out of the ice and snow. The poor stamp was frozen and the log was a bit damp, but no problems signing in. TFTC

Appreciated the Letterbox-style clues. It was a little frozen in, but came free with just a bit of wiggling. TNLN - stamped-in. (Very cute stamp.) TFTC!

Getting some caching in before work. A cool day but nice to be out. Good instructions. I wanted to look under the boardwalk but when I reread the info it all came into place. TFTH.
