This is a magnetic nano cache. The cache is not on the hospital premises but on the shopping centre side of the fence. Bring your own pen to log.

In 1983, a group of South African medical specialists, who were concerned about the lack of private medical facilities in the Western Cape, approached the Rembrandt Group with the idea of starting and developing a private hospital group.

Panorama Medi-Clinic opened its doors in August 1986, and was in fact the first hospital planned and built by the Medi-Clinic Group. In 1995 it opened its Heart and Oncology units which have been a resounding success.

On my way to my brother who lives nearby, so popped in. Cache surviving nicely in quite an exposed area.

Must be national nano day or something. This is my third one in a row today :) As I'm not too familiar with the area and ended up on the hospital side of the fence, but fortunately that didn't hinder a quick find, despite having to try and look really interested in the fence makers craftsmanship when some muggles walked past before I quickly grabbed it.

Dad sat in the car (not one for urban caching!) whilst the girls, brazen as ever, ventured out and in no time found the well hidden nano.

An odd place for a cache, though the info about the hospital was interesting. It took some sharp eyes to spot this. Fortunately, we had encountered a nano before, so when we saw it we knew what it was. Afterwards we had a quick stroll around in the little mall that was nearly deserted, and saw a sushi buffet offer that we might try sometime.

Interesting cache listing and nice for me to do a cache with a medical theme. A cute hide, but I wasn't crazy about the actual cache location. Sorry, parking lots don't really do it for me.
