You may want to start the day in downtown Cedarburg by watching the big 4th of July parade, which begins this year at 12 noon, because the 4th is on Sunday. Here's a suggested vantage point where geocachers can gather to watch the parade: N43 17.586 W87 59.122. This is on Spring Street near the end of the parade route.
After the parade, come on out to Ken's house near Cedarburg. Driveway coordinates: N43 19.596 W88 02.397. Picnic time is 3 - 7 p.m. We'll have lawn games and good conversation. A geocache containing a log book is hidden somewhere on the property. The coordinates have now been updated to indicate the geocache location of the hidden geocache.
Following the picnic those who want to can go back to Cedarburg for the evening band concert in the park (N43 17.728 W87 59.027) followed by the city's fireworks celebration. Join us for the afternoon or just drop by to claim the event as a "find".
