Geocache Description:

This cache is located near Black Covered Bridge. The bridge, built in 1868, is one of the few remaining covered bridges in southwestern Ohio and the only one in Butler county on its original site. Recognized as one of the longest and most impressive of Ohio's covered bridges.

Welcome to Butler County, a friendly place to visit with a variety of rural, suburban and small city neighborhoods, parks, historical sites and outdoor art to enjoy as you search for the geocaches. Butler County borders I-75 midway between Dayton and Cincinnati and extends to the Indiana border to the west. The 11 caches are hidden in places that are also on the Butler County Highlight Tour found at (visit link) The series of 11 caches is courtesy of the Butler County Tourism Council, a volunteer group promoting economic development in Butler County through tourism.
