A short hike around a scenic lake in the pines.
Kaibab Lake is a nice diversion on the way to the Grand Canyon. It
is one of the few lakes in the area containing water. There is
camping and fishing at the lake. The roads are all paved to the
lake, and you can park in the lot approximately .25 miles from the
cache. Take the trail around the lake until you are 400 feet from
the cache. Then follow your GPS to the cache. Thanks to our pals
the ZenBabes who replaced the container with an ammo box after the
first one was stolen.

A beautiful spot! Left a Chimayo Scott camp patch 2003 found in West End Route 66, GCPGV4, 8/30/09. Took a Wolf pack patch, "Adventures in Books." Will place this patch in a future cache. A beautiful fall day for this short hike! Great cache!
