THIS IS A CACHE WHICH WILL BE HIDDEN ON 15 NOV 2002 IN PARTICIPATION OF THE EVENT CACHE ORGANIZED BY TICK & NAMMIE. THEREFORE YOU SHOULD NOT BEGIN YOUR SEARCH UNTIL AFTER 6PM 15 NOVEMBER 2002.
I have prepared a relatively simple multi-waypoint cache which can be found in about 30 minutes. This cache is hidden in the Trappers Park area. The area has many trails and is used by a number of dog walkers.
Park at The Trappers Park parking lot at N45 20.819 W075 38.674. The Trailhead is at N45 20.743 W075 38.701.
Go to Waypoint 1 which is a large Beech tree at N45 20.677 W075 38.737.
There you will find a copper tag about 6 feet above ground. The tag has two 3 digit numbers on it. The first 3 digit number (which is followed by a T) represents a bearing (in degrees) relative to true north; the second 3 digit number represents a distance (in meters). There are no other tags!
You can get to the cache by a series of legs along the bearing line from the Beech tree. The starting leg distance (from the Beech tree) is the second three digit number (in meters). Each succeeding leg distance is exactly one-half of the preceding leg distance. Continue along the bearing line until you find the cache.
The camouflaged cache is hidden up t the top of the root ball of a fallen tree. PLEASE do not include spoilers in your logs. Logs with spoilers will be deleted immediately.
