Oxford Travel Bug Hotel (Motorway Mayhem) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Phillimore Clan: Time for this one to go I'm afraid [:(].
Many thanks to the many cachers who have visited this cache, we hope you enjoyed the visit.

Apologies for the short (zero) notice of archiving this one, but I was unexpectedly very near this one so took the opportunity to remove the cache. All TBs will be moved on soon.

Geocache Description:

The Oxford Travel Bug Hotel is located near to the
Oxford service area at junction 8 of the M40.

This should be a quick and easy cache to find and drop off / collect any travel bugs heading north west or south east. The cache (a large 50 cal ammo box) is located right next to the M40 north bound entry slip road, just off of a little used footpath. I suggest that you either park in the service area at N51 44.321 W001 5.764, but please do be careful crossing the busy roads, or in the lay-by at N51 44.417 W001 05.940 with no roads to cross.

In with the cache log you will find some luggage labels to attach to any Travel Bugs you are depositing here. Please feel free to attach one and write its current goal on it.

This cache has had the strange habit of moving away from its correct hiding place, would cachers please ensure it is placed in its correct location (as detailed in the hint below), and ensure it is hidden using the plentiful supply of natural materials (particularly in winter).

Unfortunately this cache keeps getting stripped of all its bugs!!
In order to give other cachers a chance of exchanging TB's
could you please try to swap TB's or at least leave one or two for other cachers.

Could you also please check the missions of bugs and try and help them out,
i.e. DO NOT take them in the opposite direction.

As my employer has decided that it would be a good idea to move the whole organisation to Bristol, the Phillimore's (Mad H@ter and Muddy Legs) will be moving on to pastures new and some fresh caches. Unfortunately this will mean that it will become difficult for us to maintain our Oxfordshire caches, so we will therefore be gradually archiving the majority of them. We shall start our program of collecting the caches and archiving them in the new year, but as we have one or two caches out there this will not be a five minute program! If you would particularly like to find this cache before it is archived please get in touch and we will try and hold off archiving it.
