Short horizonal hike, but quite a vertical climb. No trail and therefore lots of boulder hopping. Not for the little cachers but a nice adventure for those who want it.
This cache was placed to give those who want it some excercise. There are no paths to the cache so you will be bouder hopping all the way. It is a two part cache. The coords above simply lead you to the coords to the final cache, black coffee can. The gps signal for the first part tends to jump around so the hint will tell you exactly where it is (you are just looking for coordinates written on something). The hike is well worth it as as you have a good view of the golf course, go cart track, and model airplane strip that are nearby as well as the rest of Phoenix. Also, you will be all by yourself as not not many people venture down to this part of Hedgpeth Hills. Parking can be on 51st Ave just north of Loop 101 or you can walk down from Thunderbird Park on the H1 trail. Happy Caching!
