There are a couple ways to do this cache. There is a bit of private property directly South of the that blocks a direct approach from that side. Either use the Bike Trail on the north side of the river to access the area, or from the south, enter the river west of the cache and stay in the river until you are close to the coordinates, or stay further East and go straight to the river and work your way West along the bank or in the river.
To help you decide between a land or water approach, and based on my most recent experience; if the Reading gauge is 3.5 ft or less it is an easy crossing. If it is over 5 feet I'd not try it from land. On the other hand, if it is 15+/- feet you might be able to paddle right to it.
