This cache can be found on the northern most part of the hiking trails of the Nassau Greenbelt trail. The hiking trails can be steep at times, so this is not for the faint of heart. Parking can be found by the Cold Spring Harbor State Park. The views of the harbor are beautiful. It shouldn't take too long to find once you get to the cache area.
This cache is the fourth of my pet series. It was named after our pet rabbit, Thumper. She was a sweetie that used to keep my horse, Pony, company in her turnout. The cache is an oval tupperware container that can hold some items. There is a few items for trade with a golf ball, ball mark repair tool, hand warmers and playdoh as well as a couple of critters. In addition, you will find "Thumper". Kindly leave him inside his cache.
