A22 - Via do Infante

Lagos E-W

A A 22 - Via do Infante, é uma auto-estrada portuguesa. Está concessionada em regime de SCUT. Faz a ligação entre Lagos e Castro Marim/Vila Real de Santo António, percorrendo longitudinalmente todo o Algarve.
Tem início a oeste de Lagos e percorre Portimão, Lagoa, Silves, Albufeira (em Ferreiras cruza com a A 2 permitindo a ligação com Lisboa e o Alentejo), Loulé, Faro, Olhão, Tavira e Castro Marim / Vila Real de Santo António, terminando junto à Ponte Internacional do Guadiana, que faz a fronteira com Espanha.

The  A22 - "Way of the Infant", is a Portuguese auto-road. It is concessionada in regimen of SCUT. It makes the linking between Lagos and Castro Marim/Vila Real de Santo António, covering longitudinally of the Algarve.
It begin at West of Lagos, covers Portimão, Lagoa, Silves, Albufeira (in Ferreiras it crosses with A 2 allowing to the linking with Lisbon and the Alentejo), Loulé, Faro, Olhão, Tavira and Castro Marim/Vila real de Santo António, finishing next to the International Bridge it Guadiana, that makes the border with Spain.
